I absolutely love this book, Kamala and Maya’s BIG IDEA written by Meena Harris, about her aunt Kamala Harris (yes, our new Vice President of the United States!) and her mother Maya Harris who have a big idea. The young sisters hear the word “No” from the grown ups a lot at first, but soon manage to turn “No” into “Maybe” and finally into “Yes.” When I read this to 2 of my granddaughters, we decided to share it with all my StoriesAlive88.com friends.
